A trial lawyer with extensive experience across the United States, Andrew Gould joined Princenthal, May and Wilson in 2023.

Andrew formerly worked as an associate with The Keenan Law Firm, a nationally renowned plaintiff’s practice based in Atlanta. He participated in numerous high-value cases and trials during his years with the Keenan firm.

As part of his litigation experience, Andrew developed an expertise in conducting jury focus groups to gain a deeper understanding of key issues in his clients’ cases, which allowed him to better prepare those cases for success at trial. Drawing from his work, Andrew co-authored a book on jury focus group strategies, policies and procedures.

After spending six years with the Keenan firm, Andrew transitioned to Stewart Melvin & Frost, in Gainesville, where he became Partner and helped run the personal injury department for over four years. During his time with Stewart Melvin & Frost, Andrew not only handled cases involving motor vehicle crashes, large truck wrecks, premises liability and product liability, he also continued conducting jury focus groups, not only for Stewart Melvin & Frost clients, but for lawyers across Georgia.

Andrew brings his unique trial experience to Princenthal, May and Wilson. He and firm Partner Adam Princenthal have come together to form a trial team, specializing in representing victims of serious injury and wrongful death, particularly involving premises liability, large truck wrecks, medical malpractice and catastrophic auto wrecks resulting from safety rule violations and disregard for the safety of the public.

Andrew also brings his focus group skills to the firm as a strategic service not only to the firm’s clients, but also to collaborate with other law firms across Georgia and nationwide.

Professional and Community Involvement

In addition to his practice, Andrew has presented at numerous seminars nationwide, speaking on topics such as jury focus groups, depositions, damages and many other aspects of trial strategies. He is currently a faculty member of the Keenan Trial Institute, where he teaches safety rules drafting, case selection, focus groups, and mediation.

A native of Chatsworth, Ga., Andrew is a graduate of the University of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee, where he was the Varsity football team’s placekicker from 2005 to 2008. He received his law degree from New England Law | Boston in May 2012.

Andrew proudly serves as the current chairman for A New Veteran, a non-profit designed to assist Veterans better understand benefit entitlement, de-stigmatize disability benefits and ensure proper and completed application is submitted to ensure the Veteran obtains the benefits he or she has earned.

Andrew and his wife, Lindsay, who is also an attorney, are the parents of two young sons, Wyatt and Levi. Their family lives in Sugar Hill, Georgia, and attends Christ the King Lutheran Church in Cumming, Georgia.
